Field 02 / Maintenance

Maintain what ambition depends upon.

Body care is not vanity and it is not an emergency response. It is the quiet discipline of preventing avoidable decline, preserving function, and presenting yourself with self-respect.

The HPG standard

Prevent what can be prevented.

A high performer can be disciplined in business and careless with the instrument that makes business possible. Dental work is postponed. Pain becomes normal. Skin is exposed without thought. Appointments remain vague intentions. Presentation is addressed only when an event requires it.

The correction is not obsession. It is a maintenance system: daily actions, periodic care, professional guidance, and an honest record of what has been deferred.

01

Daily maintenance

Oral care, hygiene, skin protection, hydration, and movement should survive travel and pressure.

02

Periodic inspection

Use qualified professionals and age-appropriate care rather than waiting for pain to issue the order.

03

Address friction early

Small pain, poor footwear, a damaged tooth, or restricted motion deserves a decision before compensation spreads.

04

Present with respect

Grooming and clothing should communicate readiness, judgment, and regard for the room you enter.

The maintenance ledger

Make neglect visible.

The rule

Never use a generic calendar to override individualized medical advice. The ledger exists to help you follow the care appropriate to your age, risks, history, work, and environment.

First installation

The maintenance reset.

  1. Day 1

    List every deferred issue

Teeth, pain, vision, skin, sleep, grooming, footwear, medication, and unbooked care all belong on one page.

  2. Day 2

    Book the oldest important appointment

Turn one unresolved concern into a dated professional conversation.

  3. Day 3

    Restore the daily kit

Replace worn or missing basics. Make the correct action easy at home and while traveling.

  4. Day 4

    Inspect movement and pain

Record restrictions and symptoms without diagnosing yourself. Escalate persistent concerns appropriately.

  5. Day 5

    Set the presentation standard

Remove damaged items, prepare dependable combinations, and define the grooming cadence.

  6. Day 6

    Reduce preventable exposure

Review sun, noise, work, sport, travel, and equipment risks. Install the protection the context requires.

  7. Day 7

    Date the ledger

Place daily, weekly, and professional maintenance into the calendar and assign the next review.

New or changing symptoms, pain, skin lesions, dental problems, or other health concerns require professional evaluation. This field guide supports organization and follow-through, not diagnosis.

Continue the work

Turn maintenance into a protected operating cadence.

Inside HPG, the ledger becomes part of the whole-life review instead of another isolated checklist.
